PHOTOS: Last Week’s Cub Camp
I try to make Cub Camp as often as possible, but this Thursday I just couldn’t make it. I had a good excuse, but I’m definitely disappointed to miss Cub Camp #69. Anyhow, I thought I’d force y’all to look at some photos from last week’s Cub Camp, which was a lot of fun. (Flickr set)
In this one Jon Luskin is feeding Paul Bringetto his burrito while Paul does a trackstand. I’ve seen better trackstands and better burrito consumption in my day:
I was shooting with a new lens for the first time. This might be the first decent pictures I took, as we regrouped in Marina Del Rey:
The lens is a 1.4 so it allows you to get some great nighttime shots:
North of LAX, we’re resting up and regrouping after sprinting nearly all out for 3 miles or so:
We rode around the lower level of LAX, and then, after some discussion, decided to ride the upper level. We went to Terminal 1 to take the elevators to the top level. Even with all our antics security didn’t bother us one bit:
We got 12 people and 12 bikes into the elevator . . . on the second try:
Goofing around:
On top of the parking structure for the international terminal:
What seems like an oppressive traffic jam actually has a lot of open space:

I want a do-over.. was on a speed bump and the burrito was hot; windy, the street light was in my eye, etc..
Son, when I was a kid we ate all our meals doing no handed trackstand wheelies on lava with bikes with no wheels.
